Dr. Ilana Dashut, DDS

As a second generation American, Dr. Dashut was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She discovered her passion for working with people whilst completing her undergraduate studies in Sociology at Hunter College. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. It was here that she discovered her love for the Endodontic specialty. She completed her General Practice Residency at the New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and earned her Endodontic Certificate from the NYU Langone Hospital – Brooklyn, where she served as Chief Resident in her second year.

Get to know Dr. Dashut

Dr. Dashut enjoys providing care to underserved communities and has participated in multiple outreach trips both locally and internationally, including to the wonderful island-country of Madagascar. Dr. Dashut also holds part-time faculty privileges to teach general practice residents within the dental department of the NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Dr. Dashut is a board eligible Endodontist and is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association and the New York State Dental Association.


Dr. Dashut strives to provide the highest level of care to her patients all while making their experience in the chair as pleasant as possible. Of utmost importance is knowing her patients are comfortable and at ease, every step of the way. In her free time, Dr. Dashut enjoys traveling the globe, going for walks through nature, live music and the theater.
